Protection is one of AİYD’s core fields of work, alongside education and emergency relief.
Within the Amal Network, protection work follows protection-sensitive, community-based approaches that support the wellbeing, safety and social inclusion of children, youth, women and vulnerable groups. It can include:
- Child-friendly and women-friendly spaces
- Awareness sessions
- Safeguarding and referral mechanisms
- Community-based protection initiatives
- Social cohesion activities
