Mission, Vision & Values
What we work towards, and the values we share across the Amal Network.
Our mission
We reach out to vulnerable individuals and families to provide humanitarian support and empower them to rebuild their lives with dignity.
As part of the Amal Network, we work to create safe, inclusive and community-driven spaces where children, youth, women and communities affected by displacement, conflict, migration and social inequality can learn, participate, rebuild social connections and actively shape their futures through education, protection, psychosocial support and local leadership.
Our vision
Communities connected across borders, where people affected by displacement, conflict, migration and social inequality can participate safely, rebuild belonging and actively shape inclusive and resilient futures.
Our values
Dignity — Dignity begins with being seen, heard and recognized beyond labels, status or vulnerability. We create spaces where people can participate with voice, autonomy and mutual respect.
Participation — Creating spaces where communities contribute ideas, decisions and collective solutions, through dialogue, collaboration and shared responsibility.
Learning — A personal and collective process that creates opportunities for participation, confidence and transformation. The motto of the Amal Network is “Studying is your freedom”.
Local leadership — Leadership grows through trust, relationships and knowledge rooted in lived experience. We work alongside local actors, educators, youth groups and community initiatives.
Belonging — The feeling of being part of a connected community, represented and able to participate safely. We promote inclusive spaces that strengthen social cohesion and mutual support.
